Who We Are
The Dubin Center was established in 1995 to provide assistance to families of individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases. Our center is named after Alvin A. Dubin whose widow, Zelda Dubin, made a generous donation to ensure the viability of a resource center in Lee County.
The Dubin Center provides local expertise with resource referrals, education and support groups, all at no cost to the families.
What We Do
The Dubin Center supports individuals and caregivers by offering:
- 35 support groups per month. Lead by social workers & available in person & online
- Caregiver education. Facilitated by social workers & available in person & online
- Social activites that foster friendship and create a more dementia friendly community
- One on one consultations with a social worker
- Memory screenings
- Community education
