Who We Are

Interfaith Charities of South Lee (ICSL) is a community service organization serving the residents of South Fort Myers, Estero, and San Carlos Park. Our mission is to feed the hungry and provide help and hope for those in need. The food pantry is our main program. Local merchants, HOAs, church food drives, and individuals donate dry goods and perishables. We also receive food from the Harry Chapin and Midwest Food Banks. A grant from the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades supports our financial assistance program, which helps clients with their electric and water bills. We also offer free notary services and free tax preparation through the United Way VITA tax program.

What We Do

Food Pantry

Lee County residents who live in communities south of Gladiolus Road (along US 41 and I-75) to Coconut Road in Estero can register to receive food from the food pantry. Clients may come in weekly to pick up a variety of shelf-stable and perishable items.

Financial Assistance

Monthly funds are available, through a United Way grant, to help residents who have fallen behind in their electric or water bills. A budget class is offered to help clients understand ways to manage monthly bills.

Notary Service

We offer free Notary Public services. While we cannot provide legal advice, we will notarize documents for residents of Lee County.

Free ESL/English Classes, Summer Lunch, and an early reading program are available at our Outreach Center.  We will also be offering a Seniors Program focused on socialization, community, and friends beginning in August 2025.
