When tax season is about to start up again, it means our laptops need to be ready to go. We are looking for volunteers to help go through all our computers, check for and run system updates, clear the browsing history, and ensure the correct links are on the desktop so when the volunteer tax preparers are ready to go their computers are too!
You DO NOT need to have an IT degree for this! Anyone can do it.
Updates normally need to be done before tax training season in December and then again at the beginning of January. Our office hours, where the computers are stored, are Monday through Friday 8-5pm If you can come in at any time during the week, we would love for your help! (We have a lot to do, and just 2 weeks to get it done)!
