United Way Day of Action
A day when the community comes together to work on one special project.
This year we're joining Franklin Park Elementary’s Family, Friends, & Community Partners Day of Service!
Franklin Park Elementary is a Community Partnership School, a collaboration that includes United Way, The School District of Lee County, FGCU, and Lee Health, and UCF. You can read more about the program HERE.
2 years ago, the staff, teachers, and students of Franklin Park moved into portables so their school could be rebuilt, and the time has come for them to be able to move to their new home.
The main goal for this event is to Leave No Box Unpacked and we need your help!
Tasks
- Unpack boxes
- Hang-up items: Flag poles, bulletin boards, backpack racks (Please bring your tools if available- Phillips/Flathead screwdrivers, drills, etc.)
- Wipe down furniture
2 shifts
- 8:30 am - 12 pm
- 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
