Friendly Visitor/Telephone Reassurance Caller

The Senior Friendship Centers Friendly Visitor/Telephone Reassurance Program matches volunteers with local home-bound seniors who request a friend to call or come to their home about once per week to check-in and provide some company. Depending on interests, you might talk about upcoming events, talk about the weather, take a walk, play card games, watch tv, or just have a nice chat. We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy getting to know and build relationships with a local senior on a one-on-one basis, call or visiting them in their home.
