Description

Join Keep Lee County Beautiful for the Great American Cleanup at Jim Fleming Ecological Preserve in Lehigh Acres.

Jim Fleming Ecological Park is one of the last remaining pieces of original wetlands in Lehigh Acres. These wetlands play a critical role in protecting water quality, reducing flooding, and providing habitat for native wildlife. As development continues throughout the area, preserving and maintaining spaces like Jim Fleming becomes even more important.

Volunteers will help remove litter from the preserve and portions of the surrounding Lee Blvd corridor to protect this sensitive ecosystem and keep it beautiful for future generations.

As part of the national Great American Cleanup, this event connects Lehigh Acres to the largest community improvement effort in the country.

Please dress accordingly as April can be hot, water will be provided onsite but bring reusable bottles if possible.
