On the 5th of July, our beaches need a good cleaning after the Independence Day celebrations from the night before. Show your patriotic spirit, and how much you care for our precious environment, by helping us gather the fireworks and other debris that will be left behind. You can make an immediate impact in protecting our environment and waterways from this harmful litter!
Join us at one of the following locations:
- Bunche Beach - 18201 John Morris Road, Fort Myers 33908
- Lynn Hall Memorial Park - 950 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach 33931 (Just North of the FM Beach Pier)
- Sanibel Causeway Islands (Check-in on Island B)
Volunteers of all ages are welcome and any individual, family, school, group, place of worship, business, or government entity can participate.
We will provide the cleanup supplies, but encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottles from home. We will have water, garbage bags, latex gloves, and hand sanitizer. Remember to bring your sunscreen!
