
The Positive Behavior Club at Colonial Elementary School is seeking dedicated and motivated college student volunteers to support initiatives that promote positive behavior, healthy attitudes, and constructive approaches to student discipline.
Volunteers will play a key role in fostering a positive school climate by serving as role models and assisting with activities designed to reinforce social-emotional learning, respectful behavior, and proactive discipline strategies. This program emphasizes shifting discipline practices toward supportive, restorative, and educational approaches that encourage student growth and accountability.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Support weekly Positive Behavior Club sessions

Promote positive behavior, respectful interactions, and constructive decision-making

Assist with structured activities, group discussions, and mentoring

Collaborate with school staff to help reinforce positive behavioral expectations

Serve as a consistent, positive presence for participating students
Preferred Qualifications:

Currently enrolled college students in good academic standing

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Interest in education, psychology, social work, counseling, criminal justice, or related fields (all majors welcome)

Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to youth development
