Please get to know our families as they join you in the kitchen! A commitment of at least 1.5 hours, two evenings a month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm is encouraged. BuddiesOur Buddy volunteers must go through training before starting as a volunteer. Once they complete the training, they will sit in a group with the children & help facilitate the activity for the night and help engage the children. Hours for this opportunity are from 5:30pm-8:30pm The group is held Monday-Thursday The next training is October 14th from 9am-5pm and October 15th from 1pm-5pm.

Volunteer: Sorting Donated FoodThe Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida is looking for volunteers in our warehouses and in the community. The work performed in our warehouses consists of sorting donated food, packing non-perishable food in boxes for distribution, packing fresh produce for distribution, and checking/sorting donated bread or other perishable products. Our warehouses are located at 3760 Fowler Street in Fort Myers and 3940 Prospect Ave in Naples, and we have shifts Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to Noon and from Noon to 3:00 pm.
