Kimmie's Recovery Zone: Food Pantry Assistance Needed

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Kimmie's Recovery Zone, a dedicated recovery community organization, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our bi-weekly food pantry distribution!

What We Do: Our food pantry is more than just a place to get food; it's a beacon of hope and support for those in need. As part of our commitment to aid recovery and foster a sense of community, we provide essential food supplies to those who need them most, every other week.

We Need Your Strength and Heart! We are currently in need of volunteers who can lend their muscle and time to help us with:

Unloading Food Deliveries: Your strength will help us in unloading food items from delivery trucks and ensuring they are safely stored. Organizing the Pantry: Assist in sorting and organizing the food items, making it easier for distribution to our community members.

Who Can Volunteer:

Individuals with the ability to lift and move food items. Anyone with a heart to help and time to spare every other week.

Why Volunteer With Us?

Make a tangible difference in the lives of many. Be a part of a compassionate recovery community. Gain a sense of fulfillment and purpose.

Join Us: Your help can make a big difference in keeping our food pantry running smoothly and ensuring that we can continue to support those in need.

For more information, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mike Smith Mike@kimmiesrecoveryzone.org

Let’s work together to make a positive impact in our community!

A Recovery Community Organization (RCO), is an independent, non-profit organization led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery from substance abuse disorders. These organizations organize recovery-focused policy advocacy activities, carry out recovery-focused community education and outreach programs, and/or provide peer-based recovery support services.

We have various events coming up we would need volunteers for. We also have several tasks at our community center that can be completed by volunteers. Tasks include cleaning, sorting, packing, labeling, organizing, and assisting during outreach events.

Perfect volunteer opportunity for students interested in entering the social work, mental health, or psychology field. Hours are flexible with weekend availability. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
