Who We Are
Established in 1992, Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a community-based organization that assists pregnant women and babies up to age 3 who are at-risk for poor birth or developmental outcomes. In Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee County, we work to ensure these women and babies have access to medical care and other community services they need. Last year, more than 20,000 pregnant women and infants benefited from our services.
What We Do
Our responsibility in the community is to:
- Ensure access to prenatal and infant medical care and services
- Monitor and educate the community on pregnancy and birth outcomes
- Advocate & build partnerships to fill service gaps
- Allocate service funds in the community and provide quality assurance over the services.
