Ronald McDonald House Charities® Southwest Florida gives a family with a sick child what they need most — each other.

WHAT WE DO

The Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida (RMHC SWFL) creates, finds, and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families in Southwest Florida.  All RMHC-supported programs provide a bridge to quality health care and give children and families the time they need together to heal faster.  We fulfill our mission through these three programs:

• The Ronald McDonald House® provides lodging, meals, and other supportive services for families with children receiving medical treatment. Families can stay at a Ronald McDonald House anywhere from one night to several months, depending on their family’s needs.
• The Ronald McDonald Family Room® at Golisano Children’s Hospital provides food, refreshments, laundry facilities, and a relaxation area for family members of hospitalized children.
• The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® Program provides dental care and additional screening services to underserved children in our community through our partnership with two healthcare providers.
