Who We Are

A member of the national Village-to-Village Network, the Neighbors Network of Lee County is a grassroots, all-volunteer nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support older adults to thrive in their own homes as they age. We are building a foundation that will support networks of older adults throughout Lee County. We provide a number of health and wellness programs such as Strong Bodies for strength and balance training; Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program and a Matter of Balance through the Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida; a seminar series on topics highly relevant to thriving in community; and a stress management program, Breath-Body-Mind. As we grow our volunteer corps, we will be able to develop a program where neighbors help neighbors with small tasks and errands.

What We Do

We bring health, wellness and informational programs to our community to empower older adults to thrive independently in their own homes as they/we age.
