Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things you'll ever do. You can help shape a child's future for the better by empowering them to achieve. And the best part is, it's a lot of fun! You and your Little ones can share the kinds of activities you already like to do. These children may need a little extra help with schoolwork or maybe just a listening ear to listen and talk things through. There are a variety of ways to be a Big Brother or Big Sister to a Little! Our Bigs enjoy activities with our Littles out in the community, help with homework and school subjects in afterschool programs, and spend time helping in the classroom. Big Brothers Big Sisters has an option to fit your needs, strengths, and schedule.
We will schedule an in-person interview to become a Big Brother or Big Sister with the mentor manager staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast. Subsequently match meetings with the best suited Little Brother or Little Sister and ongoing mentoring sessions will be conducted virtually as well. Mentor managers will be available to provide guidance and assistance to ensure that Bigs are equipped to succeed in mentoring their Littles.
