Volunteers are the heartbeat of our Playhouse!
GiGi’s Playhouse provides FREE educational, therapeutic and career training programs to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. We make a lifetime commitment from birth through adulthood to empower families with the tools their children need to succeed. GiGi’s Playhouse is 99% volunteer run!
We have many volunteer opportunities:
- Program leaders and helpers for all age groups
- One-on-one. literacy and math tutors
- Leaders for fitness programs
- Leader for cooking programs
Volunteers are also needed for:
- administrative tasks
- cleaning and organizing
- and special events.
Requirements: must be a minimum of 17 years old and must attend a volunteer orientation and observe 2 programs. We pay for a background check.
