Each year, United Ways across the country mobilize communities to advance the common good on the Worldwide Day of Action. Held on June 21 – the longest day of the year – with more daylight hours than any other, Day of Action is the perfect day and the perfect way to show what it means to LIVE UNITED, to make an impact on education, income, and health — the building blocks for a good life.
What is our United Way Doing This Year?
In partnership with the American Red Cross, we plan to create new energy that will inspire others to act on this day and throughout the year. Learn how to deliver lifesaving CPR care without rescue breaths and be prepared in an emergency. Information will help participants prepare for other emergencies such as hurricanes, fires, and more.
